dead battery

My friend Neil jumped my car when I was stranded just now across town. When I got the car home, I noticed that my electric locks didn’t work. Turned it over… hey, what do you know, the damn thing won’t take a charge either. She’s dead, Jim.

This battery was supposed to last 2 years, not 9 months. What is now a useless expensive piece of lead and plastic is a Farm & Fleet brand battery, purchased in February of this year. What’s their jingle… “Find Value At Farm & Fleet!” I guess if I want to find value, I’ll have to look a little harder next time.
